Saugahatchee Church ("we," "us") respects you and the information you share with us. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect through thecrossandthecreek.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact & visit forms: your name, contact details, and message when you plan a visit, contact us, or ask a question.
- Prayer requests: your request, any contact information you include, and your choice about whether Pastor Lee may share it with the prayer team.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
We do not run advertising or sell information to anyone, and we do not use tracking cookies on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to you, pray for you, and help you connect with our church family.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. You can ask to stop at any time.
Prayer requests
Prayer requests are personal. When you send one, Netlify securely processes and stores the form for Pastor Lee. If you select “Pastor Lee only,” he is the only person authorized to read it. If you give permission to share it, he may involve the prayer team. We do not add you to any list because you asked for prayer.
Member directory
Our member directory is hosted by Planning Center's Church Center and is available only to logged-in members of our church. Each member chooses what information to share there, and may opt out entirely. Planning Center's own privacy practices are described at planningcenter.com/privacy.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site are provided by services we trust: our podcast player and episode feed (Buzzsprout), the embedded map and calendar links (Google), giving links (AG Giving), the member directory (Planning Center), and our forms, which are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website. The Buzzsprout player and episode list are delayed until you approach the Listen section, click the load button, or open a shared episode. The map is also set to load only as you approach it. When one of these features loads or you follow an outside link, that service may receive standard technical data — such as your IP address and browser type — and handle it under its own privacy policy.
Our fonts are served from this website rather than from a third party, so loading a page does not send anything to an outside font provider. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Keeping information safe
We keep the information you send us only as long as needed to serve you, and we share it only with the church leaders who need it to respond.
